Delete account and data

Here you can learn how to delete your Lokali account and all associated personal data. Deletion is free and can be initiated by you at any time.

Delete account in the app

1. Open the Lokali app.
2. Go to Profile and then Settings.
3. Tap "Delete account".
4. Confirm the deletion with your email address.

Delete account on the web

1. Sign in at lokali.at.
2. Go to My Profile and then Settings.
3. Select "Delete account" and confirm.

Request deletion by email

If you no longer have access to your account, send an email from your registered address to [email protected] with the subject "Account deletion". We process your request within 30 days and confirm the deletion by email.

What happens after the request

Your account is deactivated immediately and permanently deleted after a 30-day grace period. Within these 30 days you can undo the deletion by signing in again.

Which data is deleted

When you delete your account, we remove all personal data linked to your account, including:

  • Profile details (name, email address, phone number, profile picture)
  • Listings, requests, offers, job listings and company profile
  • Messages and chat histories
  • Reviews and applications
  • Search agents, bookmarks and notification settings
  • Uploaded images

Which data we must retain

For legal reasons we must retain certain data for a limited period, such as invoices and payment records in accordance with tax and commercial retention obligations (7 years in Austria). This data is stored solely for this purpose and deleted after the retention period. You can find more information in our Privacy Policy.
